This image won the fashion category at the 2020 British Photography Awards. It was part of a collection I shot with model Tamar Leek for a fashion label called Catalyst Latex.
This was actually Tamar’s own collection that she had helped to design in collaboration with Catalyst. We took this image nearby my studio in Birmingham.
It was shot at a high shutter speed and lit using a combination of natural light and a strobeam flash head at a high speed sync to get the dark feel to the ambient light.
